Podcast Discussion - The Dark Valley of Design

A while back, I did a podcast with a couple old colleagues of mine - Jared Stephens and Jeremy Karney. We talked about how shiny, promising design comps get eaten by the machine of product development and come out the other end looking nothing like how they were envisioned. It’s a concept that Jared called “the dark valley of design”. That may be a little more dismal than I intended it, but if you’ve ever worked in product design, you know what I mean.
