UX professionals are asked to bring lots of different skills to the table. There are also many different practices under the UX umbrella. I created this UX Skills Matrix to:

• Let designers self-assess to understand where they’re strongest

• Facilitate discussions between designers and their director to make sure the self-assessment lines up with what others are experiencing

• Help designers understand potential pivots in their career

• Help directors get an overview of all their team members to understand the collective skills of a design team.
