First Citizens Bank Website Redesign
I came to a 120-year-old bank to stand up a brand new design practice from scratch, completely redesign their website and rearchitect it in a CMS. And yes … I’m completely insane.
My role
As the VP of Design and UX, I’m the player coach of the Design team. I lead the team and also act as an individual contributor. I work with business partners to understand enterprise goals and help them understand their customers better.

Delivered a design language system for all digital properties

Our Partners
The First Citizens Bank website was a hard-coded site written in PHP, that hadn’t been refreshed in more than five years. It needed to be redesigned, re-platformed and reimagined. To make it even more interesting, the bank had never had an internal design practice. They used external design firms to create designs and full stack developers to make updates.
