Poster Month | Day 14 | Jazz'SAlive

$25.00

Every year in San Antonio, there’s a jazz festival in Travis Park. I’ve been almost every year since the early 90s. I’ve seen some great musicians there - David Sanborn, Dave Brubeck, Sammy Miller and the Congregation, and of course lots of great San Antonio bands like the Jazz Protagonists, Doc Watkins and the Westside Horns (who I used to jam with quite a bit).

This is my tribute to that festival. I used Procreate on the iPad to hand-draw and paint the image. I’m still new to that program, and I only give myself a couple hours to do these - so this one is still a little rough. I may keep working on this one - I’m digging the colors.

Shout out to Milton Glaser whose style I pretty much copied exactly from his Dylan poster.

Size: 18” x 24”. Limited run of 10. Matte coating. Signed and numbered.
